About Oscar Elizondo

Oscar Elizondo is a Texas-based business leader with decades of experience in the real estate, construction, and home health industries. He is currently the CEO of San Jose Health Care and San Jose Hospice Care, a home care company providing home care services for seniors and skilled hospice care. As older adults age, remaining in the home offers a sense of comfort and independence. His goal at San Jose Health Care is to ensure the company’s home care services are of the highest quality in patient care and at San Jose Hospice Care that their patients are treated with dignity and respect.

Elizondo has a talent for pivoting into industries that are experiencing a surge in customer demand and economic possibilities. He has successfully diversified into the home healthcare industry after recognizing an opportunity to purchase an existing healthcare business (Trebar Inc.) that was in trouble with the IRS. In the span of a few years, he had successfully grown the company to over $4M in gross revenue and 300 employees. He then sold that company.

Being the CEO of San Jose Health Care since 2013, he has successfully grown the company to close to 750 patients, 800 employees and over $15 million in revenue. At San Jose Hospice Care, which has been certified for 2 years; he has built the census to a respectful 30 patients. Both companies continue to grow at a rate of about 55% per year (collectively) with current and planned expansions to Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Houston Texas.

Oscar has also had successful careers in both real estate and construction. He is the project manager for Zondo Construction, where he has managed the construction of new homes, apartment buildings, and office spaces. Oscar has always been an active real estate investor. He understands the importance of passive income flow and the tax advantages of owning property. Due to his ability to make strategic connections with bankers and his wisdom in choosing suitable foreclosure properties in South Texas, Oscar bought and sold over $4M worth of property in his first year as a real estate agent and investor.

Accomplished Businessman

Oscar Elizondo graduated from the University of Texas-RGV with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. His early career formed the foundation for his later success as a CEO and Real Estate Investor. He used his accounting degree to work in the corporate tax preparation business and as an accountant for many medium-sized to large businesses. He soon moved up the ranks, joining one of the world’s largest payroll, HR, and tax preparers, ADP Payroll Processing, Inc.

As a regional manager at ADP, Oscar created and implemented strategic plans to expand the company across South Texas. He made thousands of cold calls and met with hundreds of potential clients, eventually being named Rookie of the Year and later receiving the Manager of the Year award. His ability to develop and sustain business relationships and deliver first-rate service to hard-won clients was the foundation of his success at ADP.

Texas Real Estate Investor

Elizondo has an affinity for real estate. He passed the real estate licensing exam the first time he took it – which is quite impressive. Between 2012 and 2018, Oscar bought and sold over $10M in property as a real estate agent/investor for Prime Ventures and Alliance Real Estate Group. He is known for providing honest guidance to both buyers and sellers while negotiating property sales for fair prices. He uses a comparative analysis method to estimate a property’s value, then considers the location, the community, and the amenities included with the property. He believes that both buyers and sellers should walk away from a deal with a smile on their faces.

From owning and managing several of his own real estate holdings, which is vast, to selling residential and commercial real estate and even a few ranches, Oscar believes success in real estate is built on maintaining close partnerships with a network of appraisers, lenders, inspectors, and bankers to close deals that benefit all stakeholders.

In 2019, Elizondo joined Zondo Construction as a project manager to plan and execute the construction of homes, condos, and apartments across South Texas. In addition to having built several homes, he has overseen the renovation, remodeling, and restoration of residential and commercial structures.
